Fellows-in-Residence

Rediscovering the Anglican patrimony of the English School of Catholic spirituality demands a learning community of dedicated souls who are actively investigating the ascetical writings left to us by the Saints, Doctors, and other noble voices of the English School in its patristic, medieval, and contemporary idioms. If a critical mass of faithful Anglicans become serious students of English spirituality, that enacts a Catholic renewal.

Towards that end, Akenside Press is seeking to partner with Fellows-in-Residence, a ministry that is twofold.

  • First, Fellow-in-Residence are active students of the English School, itself a life-long study and devotion.
  • And second, being a Fellow-in-Residence means being devoted to the direction and development of one or more projects or areas of research and prayer that support and drive the growth of the English School, in the spirit of Our Lord’s teaching: “You will know them by their fruits” (Mt 7. 16.)
